Ruby Lin is a Taiwanese actress and pop singer.


Lin made her acting debut in a TV commercial in Taiwan. When she received her first experience in front of the camera in 1995 as minor role, she start to developed a passion for acting. In 1997, After playing supporting roles in various Taiwanese TV dramas, she met her breakout role as a leading actress in the television series Princess Returning Pearl and its sequel, Princess Returning Pearl II. In 1999, after Princess Returning Pearl was broadcast, she also began a singing career with her first album, a five track EP.

Lin has acted in a variety of roles, such as the sassy Jian Ning princess in Duke of Mount Deer 2000, the cruel assassin Cai Yue in Flying Daggers, the gently natured Man Zhen in Half Life Fate, and the middle-aged woman in her latest series Ancestral Temple. In 2007, she has said she would like to get more involved in movies. Her English name is from her mother's love of the jewel.

Yang began her career as a member of the all-girl singing group 4 in Love, where she was given the stage name of Rainie. The group's popularity in the music industry was mediocre and they achieved limited success. After the group disbanded, Yang continued to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a TV host, hosting shows such as the "Guess Guess Guess" variety show.

Liu Yifei is a Chinese actress and singer. Born in Wuhan, China on August 25, 1987, Liu's birthname was An Feng Her father was a university professor while her mother was a dancer and a stage performer. They divorced when she was 7 years old. After her parents' divorce, Liu lived with her mother, Liu Xiao Li and her name was changed to Liu Xi Mei Zi. She began modelling at the age of 8 and was trained in singing, dancing and the piano. Moving to the United States in 1998 with her mother, Liu lived there for four years. In those four years she went to Middle School 67 Louis Pasteur. She returned to China in June 2002 to pursue an acting career and adopted her stage name Liu Yi Fei. In September 2002, she was accepted into the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy at the age of 15, She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in July 2006.




Immediately following her admittance into Beijing Film Academy, Liu received offers to star in various television drama serials. Her first role on television was in The Story of a Noble Family. Shortly after, she was chosen to portray the role of "Wang Yuyan" in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, a drama based on the same-titled novel by the acclaimed wuxia writer, Jinyong. It was this role that established her fame in China. Her fame was further enhanced through her starring role in the 2004 drama series adaptation of the video game, The Legend of Sword and Fairy.
